Shabby tea room challenge week #156 Frame it
Hello peeps! How is your week going? We actually had some lovely sun yesterday here in the U.K which was lovely! It always makes me feel better! So I have been busy with my cards and I now have a shop nearby selling them which has really pleased me. I dont know why but I always get very nervous about asking shops to sell my cards, so much so I turn into a nervous wreck.
Onto this weeks challenge at the tea room:
Hello shabby friends and welcome to another fun week of inspiration and creativity here in the Tea Room! This week Tracey is our creative host and she has chosen the theme of 'Frame It' along with this beautiful photo for inspiration and Tracey asks that you create a card or project inspired by photo using WHITE PLUS ONE OTHER COLOR AND INCLUDE A FRAME!
So here is my card. I used pink and white and made a frame. I embossed the card front added some pink tags and a doily, and then I added this little monster which was actually sketched on the cameo. I added some white buttons and of course added my handmade flowers in pink and white.
If you want to take part head on over at:

Shabby tea room challenge week #154
Hi! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. So the challenge this week at the tea room is called 'A silver lining'. Here are all the details if you fancy taking part:
So for my card I actually had a completely different design in mind, but as we sometimes know things don't go to plan :) I am pleased with how the card turned out, and as usual I have added my handmade flowers as I am still obsessed with them. I was going to use a ribbon buckle for the silver element but decided on the clip instead. I used my promarkers to colour in the dog and the flowers.
I would also like to enter this card for word art Wednesday challenge #68 'anything goes'. Please come along and join the challenge they are a lovely bunch of ladies.

Pink owls & flowers: Shabby tea room challenge week #152
Hello again, I hope you are having a good week. I can't believe how fast the last month has gone!
I have been busy making cards this week, looking after my little girl and trying to avoid the bugs and colds.
I have made a card this week for the shabby tea room challenge week 152. Head on over if you would like to take part.
This week at the tea room the challenge was to create a card using this lovely photo and to use the colours pink & blue. You also had to make a birthday card.
So here is my card for the challenge. I handsitched the card front using pink thread, and I also added a cute cloud paper. I thought these two owls were super cute ( unity stamps ) and I stamped them onto pink text paper. I made the pin using a pink button and I also went around the edges of my handmade flowers with a blue marker.
The 'hello my love' journal card from echo park was perfect to stamp my birthday greeting on, and I used my paper smooches greeting stamps.
After adding some twine and a punched border edge the card is finished.
I would also like to enter this card at http://wordartwednesday.blogspot.co.uk/ challenge # 66. They are really lovely ladies over there so if you want to have a go at the challenge be sure to stop by.

Monster birthday-shabby tea room challenge week #151: cute as a button
Hello! I'm back after having the flu and have missed making cards! I hope you managed to avoid the nasty bug. Roll on summer!
Anyway on to brighter things I now have somewhere to craft woohoo! My boyfriend has sorted out the loft for me, so I'm very grateful that I now have a place to get creative!
I Have made this card for this weeks shabby tea room challenge "cute as a button". You had to use the colours green, blue, white and red and of course some buttons. I thought I would do a boys card this week as its a bit different and I fancied a change from pretty flowers.

If you want to take part at the tea room or just look at beautiful cards from the design team head over: here
To make this card I used:
White card blank
White card front
Green thread
Speech bubble die
Red ink
Monster from designs by dani
Buttons
Bracket die
Glossy accents
Green bakers twine
Paper smooches greetings stamps
Red marker pen
Green marker pen
I first cut my card front and hand stitched around the edges with green thread, I then cut a speech bubble and bracket shape using my cameo.
I coloured in the bracket shape with red marker and placed this onto my card front.
I stamped the happy birthday greeting and placed the monster and buttons on my card front.
I think this monster is really cute :)
I hope you like my card and if there are any questions please ask.
Thank you all for stopping by and taking a peek at my blog,
Vic
