Thanks lil monster

Good afternoon crafty friends I hope your weekend is going well. We have had so much rain over the past few days roads are being closed off and some people are getting evacuated just up the road from me, I hope you all stay safe.

I made this card today as I need a girly thank you card but wanted a monster on there so this is what I came up with.

I am going to enter this into the:
simon says stamp challenge-have a heart.
paper smooches sparks challenge-anything goes

I'm still trying to get blogger sorted but having no luck so I may even have to start a new blog :( but thank you all for hanging in there with me I just don't know why it wont publish my posts.

Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great weekend and keep safe,

Vic

Gingerbread man

Hello crafty friends I hope your week
is starting off well. I can't believe we're heading towards the end of November already!

I made another christmas card to add to my small collection he he....hey I'm getting there right?  I love cardmaking so much but I know all my friends and family will be expecting a handmade christmas card I have so many more to make... How are you all getting on with your christmas cards?

I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

Okay I said I was getting a bit obsessed with the polkadot embossing folder and here is more proof he he. I hand stitched around the edges of the card front and added some twine and buttons. I did try getting out my mini sewing machine again but I'm afraid to say we have not yet bonded so much so she tore my card apart.....god I'm rubbish with a sewing machine and I bent the needle again but at least it didn't snap like last time! I think that's one item I won't be getting out for a long time :)

Anyway I hope your week goes well and thank you so much for stopping by.

Fall card

Hello crafty friends, I hope your all having a good week. Where is this month going? I was dreading autumn to be honest after the lovely weather and sunny days but it only took a few days for me to fall in love with it again, I just love all the pretty browns & oranges. I can't believe how cold it's turned all of a sudden and the nights are getting darker.... More cosy nights in :)

And then of course there will be Halloween soon yay!!

So I was excited to see the shabby tea room host an autumn card and this is my entry.

I used a polkadot paper as my background and hand stitched around the edges. The pumpkin and fall stamp are by unity stamps and I thought they would match  perfectly for the challenge.

The leaf was die cut along with the branch using the cameo, and the other two leaves I used my Marianne die.

I finished off the card with two buttons and some twine.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week.

See you soon

See the world

Hey there, Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Imade this card today for the shabby tea room challenge 180# material girl. I was thinking what to use for the material and I found an old top, so I thought I would make a flower with it.  I have to always have flowers on my cards for some reason :)

I used October afternoon see the world stamp set, how cute is the lady. I used inktense pencils to colour her in. I hand stitched the outer edge and put some travel tickets behind the image, and I also added some washi tape.

I hope you have a lovely weekend !

See you soon
