Gingerbread man

Hello crafty friends I hope your week
is starting off well. I can't believe we're heading towards the end of November already!

I made another christmas card to add to my small collection he he....hey I'm getting there right?  I love cardmaking so much but I know all my friends and family will be expecting a handmade christmas card I have so many more to make... How are you all getting on with your christmas cards?

I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

Okay I said I was getting a bit obsessed with the polkadot embossing folder and here is more proof he he. I hand stitched around the edges of the card front and added some twine and buttons. I did try getting out my mini sewing machine again but I'm afraid to say we have not yet bonded so much so she tore my card apart.....god I'm rubbish with a sewing machine and I bent the needle again but at least it didn't snap like last time! I think that's one item I won't be getting out for a long time :)

Anyway I hope your week goes well and thank you so much for stopping by.

  5. Vicki, I DID treat myself - each place I went into, and especially today! Will try to post about it later. Loved your gingerman, and he is adorable with all the background layers. I'm loving that ef as well, and GingerM is simply great as the top layer. Chuckled at your stitching story. I took an old machine I used for quilting down to the stamp area, finally hooked it up, threaded it. Let it set for a while. One night I got ambitious, hunted up the foot peddle down among all the boxes I have on the floor underneath the table. My stitching was the pits...very crooked. And it was just a simple line, not all over the card like yours is! (I definitely won't be hand stitching. Yours was beautiful!). I haven't attempted it again. And I always love anything with buttons. This is a most delightful card, and I'm behind on my Christmas cards too. Maybe when we get back home, I can concentrate on just Christmas. TFS & Hugs
