A cupcake birthday

Hello again:) hope your all having a good week. Thank you for stopping by to see my blog today.

The cupcake card I made today using a cut from my cameo machine, I needed a new blade a finally got one yay! man I have missed this machine!

So this card is for the shabby tea room challenge 170 'sweet as sugar'

and here was this beautiful photo to inspire us.

I cut my card front to curve for a change and I added the cupcake which I used my promarkers to colour. The flowers I handmade again, and also added pink ribbon along with a few buttons. The topper that the cupcake is on is hand stitched and backed onto a doily die cut.

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a good week!

Shabby tea room challenge week #169 'lets have tea'

Hello :) well what a beautiful sunny day we have today in the UK. I hope your all enjoying it!

This week at the shabby tea room we had this lovely photo to inspire us:

And here is my take on this weeks challenge:

I found this tea stamp and thought it would go along perfectly with the challenge this week. I cut my card using my cameo machine and added some handmade flowers. I hand stitched around the card front as I do love a bit of stitching! I wish I was better using a sewing machine but I will need lots more practise and spare needles....yep only me can bust a heavy duty sewing needle! Hey Ho!

Products used:
White cardstock
Kraft cardstock both from papermania
Tea stamp by unity stamps
derwent inktense pencils
Prima flowers
stickles glitter
doily die by Marianne
cream thread
cream ribbon
Paper smooches greeting stamp

Thank you so much for looking at my blog, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

hugs,

Bear happy birthday

Hello there :) sorry I have not been blogging for a while I had a few days in Dorest which was lovely! Anyway I am back and I have been crafting woohoo!

I have made this card for a few challenges:

Products used:
White card stock cut with cameo
Blue thread
Brown buttons from papermania
Twine thread
Handmade flowers
Doily punch
Image from papermania
Glitter tim holtz
Prima flowers
Happy birthday greeting hobbycraft

So I decided to use a different type of card this time and went for a bracket card. I hand stitched the blue outer edge, and as usual made the flowers. I added a bit of glitter to the flowers and topper just to give it a girly feel.

Wishing you peace

Hi there, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you are all having a good week. I have been trying to organize some of my craft bits but I'm getting nowhere he he!

I wanted to use these butterfly stamps and decided to make a sympathy card with them. I have made this card for a few challenges:

shabby tea room week #163 spring bliss
word art wednesday challenge #77

At the tea room we had this gorgeous picture to inspire us:

And here is my card:

As usual I have made the flowers :) using Marianne rolled flower die English rose. I was very surprised that I used a lot of green as I rarely use so much on one card. I used a yellow polkadot paper and hand stitched around the edges in a green thread. I then coloured a plain doily in green and used this as a layer, before adding a white doily (Nellie snellen doily),  I also hand stitched the circle topper using a brown thread.

I coloured in my stamps with pro markers, and I also coloured a few flowers adding some polka dots to the big flower

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, if you have any questions please ask :)

Have a wonderful day,

Vic .

Girly robot card

Hello, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I have been having a stressful week so what better way to relax than craft. I find it so relaxing and therapeutic, I am sure lots of people feel the same way.

So I have made this card for a couple of challenges:
the shabby tea room challenge #162
marianne design divas
word art wednesday challenge #76
creative card crew
lady annes challenges

At the shabby tea room its challenge 162 'pretty shabby' and we had this lovely photo for inspiration:

And over at Marianne design divas its something girly, so here is my card:

I thought this robot would look cute made girly, and I also added some doilies, flowers and buttons to girly this card up even more. The shabby tea room also wanted us to use something that was recycled so I used this mesh as ribbon. It was actually off a gift box and its fun recycling things for your cards, so I thought that was a great idea. I also hand stitched the card front and the circle topper just to add a bit more fun.

Here is a list of my products:

Cream card
notebook paper from cosmocricket girlfriend paper pack
Blue thread
Marianne rolled flower die English rose
Nellie snellen doily
Brown card from papermania
pink thread
robot cut with silhouette cameo
tags die from sizzix
heart die from sizzix
twine
buttons
greeting found in stash
diamond glaze
googly eyes from hobbycraft
mesh ribbon used from gift box

Thank you for taking time out of your day and stopping by, if you have any questions please ask and I will be more than happy to answer. Hope you all have a great day!
