Wishing you peace

Hi there, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you are all having a good week. I have been trying to organize some of my craft bits but I'm getting nowhere he he!

I wanted to use these butterfly stamps and decided to make a sympathy card with them. I have made this card for a few challenges:

shabby tea room week #163 spring bliss
word art wednesday challenge #77

At the tea room we had this gorgeous picture to inspire us:

And here is my card:

As usual I have made the flowers :) using Marianne rolled flower die English rose. I was very surprised that I used a lot of green as I rarely use so much on one card. I used a yellow polkadot paper and hand stitched around the edges in a green thread. I then coloured a plain doily in green and used this as a layer, before adding a white doily (Nellie snellen doily),  I also hand stitched the circle topper using a brown thread.

I coloured in my stamps with pro markers, and I also coloured a few flowers adding some polka dots to the big flower

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, if you have any questions please ask :)

Have a wonderful day,

Vic .

Girly robot card

Hello, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I have been having a stressful week so what better way to relax than craft. I find it so relaxing and therapeutic, I am sure lots of people feel the same way.

So I have made this card for a couple of challenges:

word art wednesday challenge #76
creative card crew
lady annes challenges

At the shabby tea room its challenge 162 'pretty shabby' and we had this lovely photo for inspiration:

And over at Marianne design divas its something girly, so here is my card:

I thought this robot would look cute made girly, and I also added some doilies, flowers and buttons to girly this card up even more. The shabby tea room also wanted us to use something that was recycled so I used this mesh as ribbon. It was actually off a gift box and its fun recycling things for your cards, so I thought that was a great idea. I also hand stitched the card front and the circle topper just to add a bit more fun.

Here is a list of my products:

Cream card
notebook paper from cosmocricket girlfriend paper pack
Blue thread
Marianne rolled flower die English rose
Nellie snellen doily
Brown card from papermania
pink thread
robot cut with silhouette cameo
