I wanted to make a card that would suit different occasions get well/sympathy, as I never seem to have a card on hand when needed. Well I probably do but most of my cards seems to hide when I need them, or maybe I just need to get more organised :)

Penguin christmas

Hello peeps I hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend. It's been really sunny here which has been so nice as we had rain most of the weekend.

Anyway onto the card:

This is the first christmas card I have made this year, I used my cameo to cut out the penguin by hero arts, as he was so big I used just a greeting and a few buttons to finish him off. I hand sewn the outer edge with memory keepers thread and used the polka dot ribbon to finish off the card.

I hope you like it.

I would like to enter this card for the totally gorjuss challenge week 198 bows.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you all have a lovely week!

See the world

Hey there, Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Imade this card today for the shabby tea room challenge 180# material girl. I was thinking what to use for the material and I found an old top, so I thought I would make a flower with it.  I have to always have flowers on my cards for some reason :)

I used October afternoon see the world stamp set, how cute is the lady. I used inktense pencils to colour her in. I hand stitched the outer edge and put some travel tickets behind the image, and I also added some washi tape.

I hope you have a lovely weekend !

See you soon

Have a gorjuss birthday

Hello crafty friends, I hope your week is going well. The weather over in the UK has been sunny then suddenly pours down. Not great when your out and about and running for cover he he!!

I have been making lots of cards recently but really need to upload them, otherwise they will be sat in a box for months.

Anyway here is a card I made the other day, for some reason the stitching took even longer than usual I should really learn how to use a sewing machine :)

I have made this card for the totally gorjuss challenge week 197 die cuts and punches.

I used a gorjuss stamp which I coloured in using pro marker pens, and the die cuts were the two butterflies which I added glitter to.

I also coloured in the background and hand stitched the edges. The stamp is by hero arts and I used versamark ink.

I also hand made the flowers just to brighten up the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, if you have any questions please ask :)

Gorjuss Girl 'back to school' card

Hello my lovelies I am back again with another Gorjuss card. I have made this for the  totally gorjuss challenge. I am actually being organized this year with back to school cards..... I hope I can say the same at Christmas he he!

So here is my card for the challenge:

As per usual I have my hand stitched toppers and flowers but this time I wanted to girly things up even more by adding rhinestones, although she still has a grungy look to her, so I obviously didn't girly her up too much as I first thought...ha!

I paper pieced her dress but coloured in her hair and skin using promarkers and spectrum noir pens. The notebook was coloured in using my inktense pencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I hope you all have a great weekend!

See you soon,

With sympathy monochromatic card

Hello crafty friends, I hope your all enjoying your week.

I have made this card for the simon says stamp challenge, which was to use monochromatic. I really enjoyed thinking up of a design to go with the challenge.

I used white as the colour as I just love the clean and simple colour. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder to run the card front through and added some cream ribbon. I also cut out the butterflies and added them onto some dimension to make them stand out. The stamp is by paper smooches and I used versamark ink to stamp the greeting. The gems were found in my stash so added these too.

Here is a better close up:

Gorjuss girl birthday card

Hello crafty friends, I hope your all having a nice weekend. Here is a card I made yesterday using a gorjuss girl stamp.

I would like to enter this for the following challenges:
totally gorjuss challenge
simon says stamp blog
silhouette america challenge ( I have used multiple rolled flowers)
divas by design challenge (fav colour combo-pink & lilac)

This card actually took forever to make as I paper pieced the gorjuss stamp, rolled the flowers by lori whitlock and I also hand sewn the topper. The butterfly is by hero arts which I cut using my cameo, there are a lot of elements on this card but I think it makes the card extra special.

Thank you so much for stopping by today :)

have a great week!
