A chubby snowman card

Good evening crafty people, how is your Monday going?  Its been so cold the last few days but apparently its going to get much colder next week.... I'm hoping it will snow woohoo!

I made this card last night for a couple of challenges:

silhouette challenge blog~use a christmas shape: echo park snowman & snowflake
pixies crafty workshop~snippets used: blue paper, green card & cream card
crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge

I loved the echo park snowman and thought he would be really sweet to use on my card, I also die cut a snowflake and placed some ribbon and a button over the top. I used papermania Christmas stamps and hand stitched around the card. The Christmas tree was made with leftover embossed card which I added some buttons too.

Well that's another Christmas card done, I thought I was doing really well but when I went to see how many cards I made there was far less than I first thought...what's that about? I must of dreamt that I made much more or I have finally gone round the bend ha ha :)

Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you have a great week!!

Vic

  6. This little snowy is delightful. Really made me smile to see this fat chubby little fella. Loved the cheery colors, and that was a great design touch to layer your ribbon & button over the snowflake. Loved the red button baubles on the crinkled tree too. So many wonderful elements to draw the eye around this card. (Had to smile at you counting your cards. I did that last night. Thankfully, I have a few more than I thought, so I can choose the better ones that I liked to send out, and maybe rework some that didn't turn out as well!) TFS & Hugs
